Bill Hunt has a Ph.D. in Theology from the Catholic University of America and taught at the St. Paul Seminary for 14 years. He is also a former director of the Newman Center at the University of Minnesota. He attended the Second Vatican Council as an assistant to Archbishop Leo Binz and was named a "peritus" (expert) by Pope Paul VI.
